MCOM 131 - Introduction To Broadcasting

Surveys the role and effects of the broadcasting and cable industry. Emphasizes historical development, media regulations, terminology, programming, and career opportunities. Studies all basic equipment used in broadcasting and telecasting. Prerequisite(s): Concurrent enrollment in MCOM 136. (PCS 1.2, 3 credit hours - 3 hours lecture, 0 hours lab)
