DENT 248 - Periodontology

Studies historical development; includes histologic and clinical characteristics of periodontal diseases; normal, pathological, and etiological considerations are discussed; current research in different types of therapy are applied to clinical practice. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Dental Hygiene Program. (PCS 1.2, 2 credit hours - 2 hours lecture, 0 hours lab)
