Surveys the visual arts (painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, and architecture) as they transmit cultural traditions and humanistic and aesthetic values. Examines historical, social, and technological factors that contribute to understanding the function and meaning of works of art. Prerequisite(s): None.
