Technical Writing

Description

Applies the principles of Standard English to business writing and presentations. While completing written assignments, students become proficient in organizing and composing business letters, memorandums, reports, and electronic correspondence with an emphasis on clarity, conciseness, and accuracy of expression. The course also includes an overview of oral, interpersonal, and intercultural business communication.
Prerequisite: Placement by exam or grade of C or better in ENGL 125.
(PCS 1.2, 3 credit hours: 3 hours lecture, 0 hours lab)
