MATH 16B - Intermediate Algebra II


Presents solving quadratic equations by completing the square and using the quadratic formula; simplifying rational exponents, roots, and radicals; solving absolute value and radical equations, and their respective applications; and solving equations graphically. Computer software is required for this course. A graphing calculator is required for this course. Check with the College Bookstore or the Mathematics Department for recommended models. Prerequisite(s): C or better in MATH 16A. (PCS 1.4, 2 credit hours - 2 hours lecture, 0 hours lab)
