MATH 165 - Calculus for Busn & Social Science

(IAI: M1 900-B)
Introduces calculus as it is applied to business, economics, the behavioral sciences, the social sciences, biology and medicine. For students planning to major in these areas rather than in mathematics, engineering, physics or chemistry. Prerequisite(s): C or better in MATH 131 and either MATH 113 or high school geometry. A graphing calculator is required for this course. Check with the College Bookstore or the Mathematics Department for recommended models. (PCS 1.1, 4 credit hours - 4 hours lecture, 0 hours lab)
