CRMJ 254 - The Juvenile Offender

(IAI Major: CRJ 914) (Spring Semester Only)
An overview and analysis of the juvenile justice system in the United States. Covers the history and the philosophies of society’s reaction to juvenile behavior. Examines the interactions among the police, courts, and correctional systems within the context of causation and control. Prerequisite(s): SOCI 131 or concurrent enrollment.
