BUSN 187 - Financial Investments


Deals with personal and business investment opportunities and decisions. Investment alternatives surveyed: stocks, bonds and funds. Various analytical techniques are applied as the basis for individual investor and manager decisions. Addresses the use of advisory and brokerage services, the regulation and operation of major securities markets, and security valuation. Prerequisite(s): C or better in MATH 116 or MATH 16B.
