FIRE 202 - Firefighter Survival Skills I


Gives students the practical skills to perform self-rescue and other rescue techniques either individually or as part of a “Rapid Intervention Team.” Students will work in real and simulated fire conditions. This course is repeatable three times. The amount of credit awarded shall be one credit hour each time the student successfully completes the course. The maximum number of credits that will apply to electives in the fire science certificate program shall be four credits. Prerequisite(s): FIRE 142.
