PHED 131 - Fitness And Conditioning II


Allows student to continue using the principles and theory of exercise physiology presented in PHED 130 and to develop his/her personal physical fitness program. Nautilus training principles are applied to the use of Nautilus equipment which is designed to increase strength, flexibility and cardiorespiratory performance. Other forms of aerobic exercise such as running, walking, cycling and swimming are suggested and available to supplement the Nautilus program. This course is a variable credit course. Prerequisite(s): PHED 130.
(PCS 1.1, 2 credit hours - 1 hour lecture, 2 hours lab)
