BRDG 101 - College Reading

Develops the reading skills necessary for the successful completion of college courses. Emphasizes steps readers can take before, during, and after reading to increase comprehension and retention. Focuses on how to organize materials and thoughts in written summaries and oral presentations. Prerequisite(s): Enrollment in Adult Education Bridge to Health Sciences program, placement by Test of Adult Basic Education (9.0-12.9), and co-enrollment in BRDG 111 and BRDG 131 and either BRDG 120 or BRDG 121.
